The custom blend of select strains of beneficial bacteria in Orb-3 Lake & Pond Liquid Bacteria is formulated to reduce the occurrence of cloudy water, as well as to reduce sludge-generating organics.
By accelerating the natural digestion of organic contaminants in both aerobic and facultative water bodies, Orb-3 Lake & Pond Liquid Bacteria reduces excess nutrients that feed algae and muck buildup, allowing the water to maintain clarity and beauty. To top it off, this product carries the Orb-3 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 60 days, and we will gladly refund your purchase price.
For dosing, start with an initial dose of 4 ounces per 500 gallons of water or 64 ounces per acre-foot, and thereafter apply 2 ounces per 500 gallons or 32 ounces per acre-foot weekly. To use, shake the product vigorously before each use, and dilute the recommended dose with a minimum of 1 gallon of pond water. Disperse the product evenly over the pond surface using a manual sprayer or diaphragm pump.
For best results, apply the product when the ambient temperature is between 50°F and 90°F, the dissolved oxygen level is over 1.0ppm, the pH is between 6 and 8, and the alkalinity is less than 100ppm. More dilution upon application will enhance the product's performance. Proper aeration is extremely important to maximize the product's performance, and it is recommended to treat the pond consistently using an automatic feed system, such as the Orb-3 2000 Peristaltic Pump.
Never commingle the product with bactericides or quaternary disinfectants, as they will degrade or inactivate the bacteria. This product is safe for people, fish, and other wildlife when used as directed. For best results, use the product within 12 months of purchase.
